Salober Alm Practice Picnic

A few other Couch Surfers and I are planning an outing next month, so we decided to scope out the area today to see if we could barbeque there. It was a lovely walk past Alatsee (which I have posted about several times already) and ultimately up to Salober Alm, which is a Jägerhütte (hunting hut) high above the Alatsee. The weather was lovely and the company was great. Enough said.

Nice to hear, that the meeting point is fine.
Aren't the flowers Edelweiße?
Or is this just my impression as a flatland-habitant?

They may be in the Edelweiß family, but they are not Edelweiß. They're usually higher up in the mountains and much harder to find.

... and they don't like rich soil but prefer rocks ;-)

That's good to know. Thanks!
